¡¿Enormous Market Potential--------With the rapid development of food industry 
in the 1970's, the food machinery 
industry developed considerably from the early 1980's to the middle of 1990's 
to establish an independent and 
preliminary industrial system with various categories and accessory types. It 
is specified in the "tenth five year" 
plan that by 2005, the amount of the food processed will reach 82.5 million 
tons; that of meat processed 6 million 
tons; that of sugar, milk products, liquid milk, various drinks, food plant 
oil, cans produced 10 million tons, 0.8 
million tons, 2 million tons, 27 million tons, 30 million tons, 3.8 million 
tons respectively. The development of food 
industry imposes a larger demand on the machinery for food processing and 
packaging. It is estimated that in 2005, the 
domestic demand on food processing and packaging machinery will reach about RMB 
65 billion yuan, that is, an annual 
increase of over 12 percent to meet the market demand.

¡¿Review of the Last Exhibition--The last CIFIE was held from May 10 to 12, 
2004 at No. 8 exhibition hall of China 
International Exhibition Center. It attracted over 300 companies and agencies 
dealing with food technology, 
processing, production, and packaging from more than ten countries and regions 
such as British, America, France, 
Denmark, Japan, Sweden, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Germany, South Korea, 
Turkey, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China 
Inland. The exhibition covered an area of 10,000 m2. CIFIE has become one of 
the largest, most influential and most 
promising exhibitions in China. In the past two years, it attracted more than 
40,000 person-times domestic visitors 
and over 8000 foreign visitors, including those from embassies in China, 
chambers of commerce, foreign buyer groups, 
and domestic delegations and industrial associations of provincial and 
municipal governments. More than 100 media made

Note: each corner booth is subject to 10% additional charge for special 
decoration and booth engineering management. 
The exhibitors should pay the electricity for self-used electric appliances and 
exhibit demonstration.

IV.     Exposition Procedure
¡ø Fill in the exposition application form and affix an official seal, then fax 
or send it to the organizer. 
¡ø Remit half or all charges payable to the organizer within one week after 
sending the application form. Please fax 
the remittance draft to the organizer. The payment left should be paid before 
March 20, 2005. 
¡ø Place allocation principle: apply early, pay early, arrange early. Charges 
for place facing two directions are 10 
percent higher. 
¡ø The organizers will send the Exposition Guide to those who have paid for 
place before March 20, 2005 (to explain in 
detail the exposition procedure and precautions, including visa, agenda, 
exhibits transportation, accommodation and 
equipment renting, etc.).
