I see. I guess the `landscapeplus' option is defined in a local
version of config.ps on your system. Be careful with local
modifications...
Actually, I might have an idea what it may have done, namely something
that is also done in powerdot to avoid slides coming out upside down
in ghostview, namely:\AtBeginDvi{\special{!/landplus90 true store}}
but then in dvips instructions.
