Just one more point to this. Although there are some projectors that allow 16:9, the majority is 4:3, and using a 16:9 slides it will become stretched on the projection.

You can specify paper=a4paper or paper=letter, but this will not be want you want either. So no, there is not yet an option for 16:9.
