Yes. My regular job for the last 16 years or so has been video post- production. I specialize in editing and visual FX production. But also shoot on a regular basis. I work on documentaries and independent films, and with non-profit and corporate clients. I also know compression and production for optimized output to web, DVD, and other devices (iPhone, laptop, etc.).
I've worked with a lot of different standard definition and high definition cameras. And I have a Canon 5D Mark II which I have been using lately for certain video needs. Like other DSLRs it can shoot quite nice video. But it has a number of issues which can really screw you if you are not careful -- primarily moire and aliasing of certain objects...
I regularly consult with clients on video workflow best practices. So, I could lead such a meeting. I've been a bit negligent in getting meetings going lately anyway.

Hey Kids, Anyone on the list shooting video or getting into video? Is this something that you'd be interested in devoting a meeting to?I'm just getting started and finding things a lot more complicated than vhs tape and a/b roll editing.Rick .......................................
