[pov] Re: Slide Scanning

A big consideration is how the slides are handled.  I can't speak to how well 
the high-end outfits do on the scanning but from what I have seen the low end 
outfits scan the slides dust and all.  I have not had mine scanned yet but have 
seen the issue on other's slides.  

When I checked, Costco was 17¢ per slide with a coupon.  I cleaned all my 
slides thoroughly and was going to use them (because I did not need my slides 
to be high-end; only digital) but they screwed up my order and ended up 
overnighting my slides back to me so I at least had something to show at the 
event I was attending.  From what I could tell, I think they send the slides 
overseas to be scanned.
