[platypus-dev] Re: platypus command line utility 1.2 bug (?)

Dear Colleagues,

A previous posting alluded to a problem with the CLI in Platypus 3.2. A response to that posting indicated the problem would be fixed. Has it been fixed?

Thanks is advance,
Oscar

Crap!

Will release fixes for the problems you mention within the next couple of days. That command line utility has had precious little work on it since I first added it to Platypus.

I just installed the new platypus command line utility, version 1.2, that came with Platypus 3.2. It seems that apps created with the command line utility still have English.lproj instead of en.lproj. Also, the installer app has always said it was installing version 1.0 (even since Platypus 3.1's platypus command line utility version 1.1).

I modified my build script to rename English.lproj to en.lproj independently of the platypus utility, and found that the resulting application would not launch, giving console messages "Unable to load nib file: MainMenu, exiting." Upon further investigation I found that the Info.plist produced by the Platypus application is very different from that made by the command line utility.

I hope the command line utility will be updated to parity with the application.
