For those of you who didn't know there was zoom option in Quake 3 (like myself)
and wondered how AssShrapnel could pick you off from across the board with the
RailGun (like myself) now you know (like I do now)....

Sick and tired of trying to hold down the zoom button AND shoot at the same
time? Well .. not me but just in case you are ... you will be interested in
this script. As usual, simply add this to your autoexec.cfg (in your baseq3)
directory and voila!

// BEGIN STICKY ZOOM SCRIPT //

// This script binds your middle mouse button to a zoom toggle script
// Simply press and release the middle button to zoom in (and stay in)
// then press and release once more to zoom back out

set v_zoomon "+zoom; set v_zoomswitch vstr v_zoomoff; vstr v_lowsens"
set v_zoomoff "-zoom; set v_zoomswitch vstr v_zoomon; vstr v_highsens"
set v_zoomswitch vstr v_zoomon

set v_highsens "sensitivity 15" // Mouse sensitivity while zoomed in
set v_lowsens "sensitivity 5" // Mouse sensitivity while zoomed out
bind mouse2 vstr v_zoomswitch

// END STICKY ZOOM SCRIPT //

Later ... J
