You can actually choose what gcc version you would like OpenWrt to use,
therefore I'm not sure which one the autobuilder uses. The default (at least I
can't remember changing it explicitly) seems to be gcc 4.1.2, as the directory
build_dir/toolchain-mipsel_gcc-4.1.2_uClibc-0.9.30.1 suggests.

./cc1 --version yields:
GNU C version 4.1.2 (mipsel-openwrt-linux-uclibc)
        compiled by GNU C version 4.3.3.
GGC heuristics: --param ggc-min-expand=100 --param ggc-min-heapsize=131072
