Hi,

Many people are using 4.0.6, and most of those are probably running OK. But
I found bugs in the array handling that would cause php to crash after a
while, but only if certain array functions were used. If you're starting
out. then I wouldn't bother with the hastle of changing php just yet.

But if you're keen to do so anyway, then try the php boards for general php
help. There are several boards and I forget which is the best, but I think
that there's a general board.

One thought. Did you do configure first?

I think that the PHP packages have their own notes, and following those
should work.

Good luck!
