oooops just noticed the 'typo' in the original subject line, lol!  I trie=
d APC=20
once, it gave dodgy out of memory errors intermittently.  I just have the=
se=20
freudian slips, I dunno...

Anyway, I've tested lots and it seems to be working fine :))

If you're interested, its a uniprocessor box (1Ghz PIII) running a modifi=
ed=20
RedHat, with Apache and PHP 4.0.5.  It gets 20-23,000 hits/hour for most =
of=20
the day, peaking at around 600-700 p/minute (all PHP + database, no image=
s or=20
static content).  Load avg dropped from 2.2 - 4.5 down to 0.3 - 0.6 :))=20
