Oh and there are webservers that focus on serving static contant like
Tux and X15 for Linux that can push an amazing amount of data. They do a
lot of funky stuff to get I/O time down to the absolute minimum.
The nice thing is that atleast Tux can be configured to forward any
request it can't or should not handle to another webserver like apache
or zeus
So there is a lot to gain from real static content versus pseudo static
content that is run through php.
Btw: anyone know the status of dynamic content via tux or x15?
