I definitely like the costuming ideas; we'll keep that on tap. Spice
sounds like it could be of general interest, and I like the idea of
comparing the actual and the conceptual designs.
Another suggestion we had from Kirsten was mini-lectures. Like a 20
minute profile on an artist or architect, or a certain style of
either, or a general overview of a trade or concept. For example, we
talked about a short profile of Frank Lloyd Wright, and his body of
work. I realize I'm being kind of obtuse, but the general idea is a
knowledge transfer without necessarily showing of any artifacts or
gear. The goal would be to inspire other Makers/Crafters, give them a
fresh dose of ideas that could be applied across genres and mediums.
Does anyone have anything they could present on along these lines?
Would there be an interest in this sort of thing?
