Want 2 create a RAD tool? (Rapid Application Development) tools for PC

Delphi is the best choice. I have used it and works fine.

But Delphi is a non-free software so do Kylix. The best RAD
tool/programming language in GNU/Linux is Python, All software that
interface with Phoenix is built in python.

The main advantage of using Delphi as a RAD tool is that. Delphi has got
aCLX (Cross compiler) built in so that u can easily import a windows based
application to linux based one.

Python supports both GNU/Linux and Windows. Also if you want to
program in C++, Qt is a nice, cross platform GUI library.

The linux version of delphi is Kylix.

Kylix is a proprietary tool, which development is now discontinued by
borlad, and there is no way to continue development with the code
created using kylix (which can happen in all kind of proprietary
applications.).

Please check http://directory.fsf.org/devel/ to get information about
available Free Software development tools.
