Hello all,
I have
I am not involved in the phoenix project or anything related to it (I know
Ajith Sir when I was working at IIT Delhi).
I am curious if a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) can be employed for *anything*
on this. Does it help or is it overhead for Physics studies or experiments in
non engineering courses?
RegardsPrasanth.

Hello,
I am glad to announce another equipment from the PHOENIX project. The
objective is to help students to learn by exploration. At the same time the
accuracy has been increased to support conventional experiments in a better
manner.
The new device is called expEYES, stands for
Experiments for Young Scientists & Engineers
EYES was the name planned but to make use of the search engines, you need a
meaningless name, so we have expEYES
Have a look at http://www.iuac.res.in/phoenix/?q=node/100
Documentation is also in a preliminary stage, but this time we will have a
manual. Waiting for volunteers in this area.
Any feedback is welcome.
with regards
Ajith
