[pghawis] Re: members list for the website

Hi Beth Lynn: What a great idea! I hope that all of our members will do this because I would like to know more about these interesting ladies who attend our meetings. Enclosed please find a first attempt at a Bio. If this is not what was expected, please feel free to edit it. Just send me a copy before you post it nationally.
By the way, we really do need a link from the national WEBsite. I think that our WEBsite is good enough now, and it doesn't mean that we cannot modify it in the future.
Thanks, Beth Lynn, for all your hard work, and hopefully, if Dana is in agreement, you can go ahead and create the link. It might be nice for you to summarize for our members how to modify the calendar or anything else technical about the WEBsite.
Also could you please add Prof. Barbara Hanusa, bhhmq@xxxxxxxx, to our mailing list? She is a faculty member at Pitt. She attended some of the original AWIS meetings many years ago in Pittsburgh and I just saw her on Saturday. Thanks. Stephanie

Hello,

During the meeting on Tuesday night, Dana Joyce and I discussed the
possibility of having a members list on the website sorted by fields of
interest.

If this is something that you'd like to participate in, please answer
the following questions

Your name:
Your field(s) of interest:
(optional info that you may want to share on the web page)
* your email address:
* your occupation:
* your employer:
* short bio, one paragraph
* ways that you'd like to help out AWIS-UP, hosting a meeting, being or
finding a speaker, etc...

You may send the info to the entire group by sending mail to
pghawis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx but if you are shy, you may send it my private
email address bethlynn@xxxxxxxxxx

Of course this is optional so if you choose not to be named on the
website you don't have to be. This is just a way that we can get to know
each other a little better.

Thanks,
Beth Lynn Eicher
