But right, I think something like this could be in the prefs, under 
your favourite, standard shortcut keys :)

Sounds perfectly reasonably :)

Anyway, Oliver, could you please configure freelists to not write the 
control characters in such a unreadably way (if you can see this in 
Beam :-)). I don't know the exact option, I just know it's there, since 
we're already through this in some other freelist lists - thanks! :)
