[PCWorks] web page puzzle

This week the woman has two sales. I attempted to make a table and put 2
cells having one sale on the left and one sale on the right.
It worked BUT the sale on the right begins lower than the sale on the left.
This is not a big deal, just something that is bugging me. I can't
understand why it is happening.

I know I should ask in the HTML Haven group but I'm ashamed of my poor
