That's it, Ben. Exactly what I was looking for; it works 
perfectly.
There are two prefs to control Recently Closed that you can set 
to "0"
on the about:config page to disable the feature.
browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo (by default: 3)
browser.sessionstore.max_windows_undo (by default: 10)
