Re: [PCWorks] Driveragent.com: yay or nay?

Don't bother. Most if not all of these sites are scams and/or
malware. Furthermore, most "new" drivers, even if from the
manufacturer, end up having more issues than previous versions.
The older the driver, usually the more stable they are because
they've been out longer instead of the manufacturers using us
as their "beta test subjects" for newer versions (even if they
are not labeled "beta"). On some occasions newer drivers can
actually help with an existing issue. But it's never a good
idea to update drivers if one is not having any problems. The
two basic of the golden rules of drivers: "Leave well enough
alone" and "If it ain't broke don't fix it" (which can also
apply to many other things).

I tried this site, and the driver scan proclaimed of 104
drivers, my
sytem had 36 that were "bad" - in need of update.
Does anyone have experience with this site, and would you
recommend it?
TIA
