-=PCTechTalk=- update installation problems

 About a week ago I noticed some updates being downloaded. Got the message
updates being installed when I shutdown, do not turn off your computer, bla,
bla, bla...  Now every time I shutdown I get this. Tonight I noticed updates
waiting to be installed and clicked to install now. Tried but said couldn't
install security update for Flash Player. How do I fix this, or at least get
it to stop trying to install? Running XP Home with Auto updates turned on.
