-=PCTechTalk=- need help with a firewire

i got a case and i got 2 firewire Oxford 911 bridge boards.and i hook up a hard 
drive it shows the hard drive as a cd drive not as a hard drive.i have windows 
xp .how do you get windows to see them as hard drives.i got  a Adaptec AUA-3020 
usb and firewire Combo card in my computer.
