Hi,
I am using one computer at two locations, two different ISP's. One is dial
up earthlink.net, the other cable cox.net. After taking it to my relative's
house and using the high speed cox account, and then back home, my sign in
window is not the same. Usually, I can click on my internet explorer icon
on my desktop, and it comes up with a sign in for me that I prefer over
clicking on my earthlink "total access" icon at the bottom of my screen
since that pops up a tool bar and slows down my computer and asks me to
update earthlink total access which I do not wish to do.
I tried doing a "go back to earlier restore point" but that did not help. I
thought that helped once before when this happened? Any advise to get the
other log window back?
Also, since going to my cox.net webmail and changing my password for my
outlook express email I now am getting a pop up window with my email user
name and password and as it is remembering the old password and is greyed
out with a check on remember password, I have to backspace and retype my new
password to receive that email. I would like to not have that pop up also.
I went to the webmail page to find a large incoming file to try and stop it
since it was hanging me up last night so bad. It was like a 5 mb movie
file, I emailed my friend and told them please dont send me anything that
large again since I am mostly on dialup.."
thanks for any help,
hope I do not sound too confusing.
