Hello everyone, a little dirty secret of LCD monitor manufacturing is that they still haven't figured out how to make them free from occasional malfunctional pixels. This problem is severe enough for them to be excluded from warrantee coverage if there is only a few. In some cases it is no big deal, but in others, even a single malfunctioning pixel can in some cases really be a terminal nuisance. I was looking to get a new monitor, and I wondered if anyone has any suggestions or tips on what one can do to avoid ending up with such a defective unit, as far as individual policies of different manufacturers' and those of different stores that sell them. thanks arnold To unsub or change your email settings: http://www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ http://www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: http://www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
