-=PCTechTalk=- Word XP - search and replace....

Hello all,
I have a *.txt file that I want to save as a Doc file. Here's my
problem; Each line of text uses only about half of the line, AND ends with a
space
and then a hard return. There is a hard return in between each paragraph, so
there is a blank line. I'd like to do a "replace all" search (to delete the
space and hard return at the end of the line), instead of editing each
individual
line. The *.txt file looks like this;
It looks like this X ("X" being the hard return)
X
Followed by another paragraph X
X
I thought I had figured this one out before, and if so, I've forgotten.
The current document is thirty pages, and if I can do a "replace all", it
will be between fifteen and twenty pages. Much better, if I want to print it.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks,
HB
