Hi Group, my friend is running XP and has McAfee AV. The other day it told
her a virus was found and was "wiped". Well, next time she went to boot up,
it wouldn't! All she got was a blue screen, nothing happening, it wouldn't
boot. She had to reinstall her whole OS, programs and everything. She is
quite brilliant at computers, but has no clue what happened in this case. I
wonder if she has some wrong settings in her AV? I would freak out if this
happened to me! Does anyone know what could have happened here? ~Glo
