Too often I see folks slap on very looooong urls in their postings.

I have a very simple tip to make them short before sending them out to any
newsgroup postings:

1. Copy the url.
2. Type a title for the url in the post.
3. Highlight the title then click on the hyperlink icon (Outlook
and Outlook Express have them.) or 'Insert>hyperlink from
the file menu.
4. paste the link in the line, "type the file or web page name"
5. click ok.
6. Yer done.

Now after you send them, the readers who get your posts
will only need to click on the title! Simple huh?
