Howdy Kids,
A while back, I instructed the Freelists' server options to send me
notifications whenever there are server problems with our members (multiple
email addy bounces, unknown users, etc.). Well, I just received a bunch of
bounces and 'user does not exist' warnings for some of you that I KNOW
exist. I don't know why it's happening and there's nothing I can do to fix
it from here (they're all email server issues between Freelists and the
affected member's email servers).
However, I CAN warn you that some of you may end up automatically
unsubbed by the server for having too many bounces in a short period of
time. If it happens, you might want to consider resubbing with a different
addy (for example, if the unsubbed addy is from your ISP, sign back up with
a Gmail or Yahoo addy instead).
And although it's not of our doing, we sincerely apologize if this goofy
server issue winds up affecting your membership. :o(
