-=PCTechTalk=- Searching for another Office 3000 --WINDOWS INSTALLER

Hi Sandy,

I have two seniors with this problem, one uses an HP & the other a cannon.
The one with the Canon, her Windows Installer keeps referring to Paint Shop
Pro which I uninstalled & reinstalled to no avail. It was on her computer
that I disabled Windows Installer. So far she is experiencing a temporary
relief.

The other with the HP is waiting for me to find a fix for her situation.
So, if you don't mind sending me the HP directions I will give it a try.

In the meantime maybe Mike or GMan will figure this out.

Thank you for your quick response Sandy,

Jan, does your senior have an HP Printer? I found my correspondence with
them and the procedure they had me go through did fix it. If your problem
is HP related I can send you a copy of that correspondence---- or you can
contact HP website and give them the error message and the problem. They
were very good to respond promptly by e-mail.
Sandi
