What's the best method of remotely accessing another computer at a different
location? I've read articles on this in the past but had no application for
it. I'm specifically interested in being able to access my mother's computer
in another town so I won't have to drive all the way over there to see what's
going on when she has a problem. I'm on a cable modem and she's on dial-up.
My networking connection is configured per Steve Gibson's site and I'm running
Sygate firewall. Mother is on dial-up and is configured per Steve Gibson's
site, but is not running a firewall. She mostly uses her connection for email
and doesn't have much interest in the Internet - yet.
Thanks!
Cajun
