thanks Dan, I wonder what the percentage is of folks using free AV vs. paid ones. I could spring for a paid one if I think it will be that much better protection. But if not necessary, ... and I do not know which paid ones are best. I have enjoyed the protection of Symantec endpoint protection although I think it maybe is some corporation version? My school provides it. Thanks for the link, interesting to read. I do know my current AV takes up a lot of memory probably. christy -------------------------------------------------- From: "Dan Chisolm" <d0ct0rdan@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 14, 2010 8:07 AM To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: zone alarm question > Christy, > > See a review (from a few months ago) at > http://dottech.org/freeware-reviews/14151 . . . additional download > options are at http://ninite.com/. > > ~ Dan > >> From: poppy0206@xxxxxxx >> To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx >> Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: zone alarm question >> Date: Sat, 14 Aug 2010 00:18:11 -0400 >> >> Thanks Dan, >> >> I am contemplating which AV to get soon as my free one through school >> will >> run --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
