In all honesty does it really matter on the spelling
?   Both pam and I knew what he was referring to by
the model number  so much so I didn't even notice the
spelling mistake,  even tho it very clearly does say
"musket"  I read it automatically as  Mustek without
a second thought.

If there was a product that was similar that was
called a musket (Re computer use) then I'm sure the
replies would have been useless to the original
poster but may have been helpful to others and the
correction could have been made at that time
regarding the name.

Something to consider...  Hanks spell checker may
have been working overtime and caught Mustek as a
mistaken  Musket especially if the email client is
set to spell check automatically on outgoing email

Mistakes do happen and one should not be brought down
because of something so simple as this.

My apologies to the mods for adding to this thread
but had to add my $0.02 (Canadian)
