Hi everyone, My uncle just got his computer back from the shop and as I expected it was messed up due to lots of spyware on it. He is having to load all his programs back on and all. He says he does have Nortons 2005 antivirus going on it. He has winME OS. I want to walk him through some things like making sure his updates are current. Would that be the same as with win XP to update, like sp1 and sp2 , just go to start and windows update and let them tell you the critical ones? Also I want to send him a few sites to download zonealarm firewall, spybot, adaware, spywareguard, etc.. Can I just send him the exe files I have since they are on my computer rather then him downloading from their sites? He gets confused about finding things on sites sometimes. I cant be there physical right now so am trying to help him via online and by phone.
