The initial scan at the end of the install looks for exe files everywhere,
even if you have multiple partitions or multiple hard drives (and even on
externals). If it finds an exe, it'll let you know whether it's up to date
when the scan is finished. Of course, this is why the scan looks like it
gets stuck at 5% for a while. My last install took over an hour to complete
the scan, but then I knew exactly where all of my exe files stood,
regardless of whether they were actually installed or not.
It's good to hear that it found stuff that even the manufacturer can't tell
you about. I'm just not sure if that's a plus for Secunia or a big fat
minus for Adobe. lol
