I AM clueless in most all of this question stuff..it looks like greek to
me..
Yep all systems are different..I have teatimer activated and it DOES slow
things down. About the same as MS did..
Will go have a look at possibilities.....I will buy if it works well and
does better than freebies but not because it's buyable.
thanks

I've never noticed MS Antispyware slowing things down after installing
it on multiple machines, but we see different things happen with our
different setups. The program popups are important so you can teach it
what is good/bad (very much like interacting with a firewall softare).
It doesn't know everything. They usually have options to temporarily
enable/disable if you are absolutely clueless about the information it's
giving you, but best to educate yourself on each one so you can make an
informed decision. Protecting yourself is a sad reality of modern
internet use.
If you're looking to buy a program, you might find this review
interesting http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,119572,00.asp
and I'd recommend searching for other reviews (more heads are better
than one) just to get a good feel for what is actually good.
