-=PCTechTalk=- Re: viewing thumbnails

Open the folder where you keep your pictures, graphics etc..
rt-click an empty area of the folder, select 'properties'

and checkmark 'enable thumbnail view' click apply and ok.

Close the folder. reopen the folder again and right click menu,
select 'View' and another mini menu will open, select 'Thumbnails' (a
checkmark will appear next to it)
Your thumbs should start appearing.
You will have to manually repeat these procedures
for all other folders you want to have thumbnails.

A word of caution:
If you have hundreds or thousands of pics, I would not
recommend this option as it take up quite a bit of memory
to load all the thumbs.
Its best to have a Picture viewer like ACDSEE
or Infranview to view your pics...

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- viewing thumbnails

Before I had to get a new HD, I could view thumbnails of my image files when
browsing a folder. Now, I can only get thumbnails of HTML pages. What do I
have to do to set up the folder so I can again view file with .jpg and .gif
extensions? I am using Windows 98.

Thanks
