Troth, as usual, is right..but...it there is that magnavision or something like that on it..then it will not copy. My other half and I bought some cables that allowed him to copy it to his hard drive. Then he could edit out the commercials ...I hate commercials on VHS tapes, DVD's and the movies. I resent paying money to see commercials!! I need to find the name of the cables (which has some hard ware in it...) and I will write back how we do it. He does use software......to edit it and burn it to DVD. Will tell you about that too when I get the info together. We have company right now and I am going to bed.. Been sick for a few days. Sometimes the video card will have in 'input'. If it does, you can connect your VCR's output to your card's input.
