You can download a free trojan/malware scanner here:
http://www.emsisoft.com/en/ it's called a squared and is updated
regularly, there are freeware and shareware versions. The free version
doesn't have the background scanner. You do have to register, even for
the free version. I've used it for a few months and have had good
results. One thing, when it starts it takes a while for it to start
running, it looks like the program's froze but it isn't, just wait until
it gets going. Once it's running it moves at a decent speed.
