am using ZA... the first instalation seemed to work. but once I made the mistake of denying some kind of access to the internet I was never able to reconnect--even when I deleted and reinstalled. Something happened somewhere that just isn't letting go. It will NOT connect at all at this point. I had only two connections set up and neither will connect.. phhht ml ----- Original Message ----- From: "~OoO~" <sirtroth@xxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2005 8:08 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: trillian Did the whole thing not connect? Or, just the AIM client? And, try shutting the firewall altogether, just to see if that's it. Did you say you were using the ZA firewall? ____________________________________ Sir Troth ICQ #1717439 AIM/AOL: SirTrothX Yahoo: SirTroth MSN: SirTroth@xxxxxxxxxxx (do not email me here) My Personal Email: SirTroth@xxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- -----Original Message----- From: pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of milady Sent: Wednesday, October 19, 2005 9:32 PM To: pctecktalk Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- trillian I tried this version. It WAS working and then I told it no to internet access and it stopped working and I couldn't find out where to retry or change that setting so deleted and reinstalled but it still won't connect. AND I coulnd't get it to come up with contact list.... it did the first time. And nothing came up in help...I uninstalled via add/remove, did a search and went into registry and removed a file. I don't know WHAT to do to get this darn thing working again. It simply won't connect. ml -- <Please delete this line and everything below.> To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ -- <Please delete this line and everything below.> To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ -- <Please delete this line and everything below.> To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/
