at last, I went with earthlink high speed but couldn't get more speed than
there basic should have got, I told them I wanted basic $10.00 a month
cheaper, They canceled my high speed then told me I couldn't get DSL here. I
sent back the modem and went to SBC I got the high speed at the price
earthlink wanted for basic, well earthlink goes through SBCs server here
anyway. I am getting around 1300kbs for downloads, bellsouth gets around
1500kbs. that sure beats the 4 or 5kbs I was getting on dialup.
