Don,
what is the name of the thumbnail file, I can't find anything like that in
the My Picture or other folders,   And is there one or one for each folder?
Sorry, but as always I am just learning about the computer. seems I never

Every folder that has pictures in it will have a THUMBNAILS file in it when
opened in Windows explorer.  Delete that file, close the folder, close
Windows Explorer and then reopen everything.  That should create a new
thumbnail file and possibly fix your problem.
