I have two other accounts same ISP that have no trouble at all. They just go right thru..it's a real puzzle. I did that.. start over with a new entry.. didnt make any difference. weird... They did have trouble about 5 days ago with the mail server--the whole thing went down.. once it came back up then is when I started having trouble with this problem. I don't remember it before that. For some reason I can't get to accounts that are outside the ISP..I had one elsewhere and it couldn't be received..don'tknow why..I used to have no problem with my other ISP, getting mail from outside. Can't do it now. ml ----- Original Message ----- From: "~OoO~" <SirTroth@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "milady" <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2006 3:08 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: still puzzled--outgoing login thing That is why I asked. If it works sometimes, yet not other times, its VERY possible its the ISP. Try deleting that mail account under the ACCOUNTS SETUP... then recreate it from scratch. Also... do you have another POP email account that you can set up in Outlook (or OE, whichever one you said it was), and see if THAT one works fine. But, don't use an email address from the same ISP account you are having the problem with. If you need a POP address, you can use a Gmail account. ====================================== = SirTroth = ICQ: 1717439 = AIM/AOL: SirTrothX = YAHOO: SirTroth = MSN: SirTroth@xxxxxxxxxxx (don't email me here) ====================================== On Thu, 27 Jul 2006 08:24:41 -0700, milady wrote: > this last time with the last note I sent to list it requested > TWICE..second time it took...beginning to wonder if maybe it's the > ISP?? and their mail system? or just mine. ml ----- Original > Message ----- From: "~OoO~" To: "milady" > Sent: Thursday, July 27, 2006 7:43 AM > Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: still puzzled--outgoing login thing > > > You say "verification".
