Here's another thing, if it's the card or lot that is... open the system,
physically remove the card, then start the computer and uninstall it in
DEVICE MANAGER. Then, shut down, and reinstall the sound card, but in
another PCI slot. Restart the computer, of which the system will pick up the
card again and reinstall drivers. On rare occasions, you just have something
that flops out and, for whatever reason, reseating to a different PCI slot
tends to help.

HI Troth,

I had the card put in brand new only a few months back, actually my brother 
put it in and it was working.  I did move the computer physically to another

house, so perhaps the card is loose.  I have a feeling it is something 
really simple and Im just not seeing it.
