Hi, Have you tried hitting the Enter key after it starts the scan? That stops
mine on win98. I don't know why yours does it every time.

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- scan disk -
I can't re-boot my computer anymore, without it running thru scan disk. And -
it
takes hours to do it -
does anyone have any thoughts on why it feels it needs to scan the disk every
time I re-boot? I can re-boot immediately after it re-booted and scanned, and
it will still scan.
How would I stop it from scanning?
Cris
