-=PCTechTalk=- Re: router hookup to laptop

Hi Chris
the router should have the brand name on the case in plain sight and probably
on the bottom of it
will be all the info needed, like model number, etc. to go to the manufactures
web site and research
it.

The will still probably need to get registered with the college to be able to
get on the college
network and submit assignments for the classes that require or allow it.

Blew a gasket huh. Well maybe it is time for your friend to cut the umbilical
cord and let them be
adults and solve the situation using their brains and resourcefulness, not to
mention buying her own
router. I am just a mean old Grandpa 8-). They want to PLAY grown up, time for
them to learn it is
not a game.

If she buys her another router, ask her to send me the old one. 8-)

Think I will go back to college and start a new course of study called "common
sense". The papers
that will be turned in for a BS graduation (no pun intended) should be
hilarious and awesome. LMAO

Good Luck
