I think the two above give all the details and fixes.  ML, did you try 
refreshing the sites you visited?  Sometimes the images don´t finish to 
download.

ml, I just recently ran up on some info on this, giving three possibilities
for cause.  I am sorry I cannot remember all the info or where it was.
One cause is that the pic is a link to another directory and the link is
broken.
Another possibility mentioned was that the owner may have updated the page
and removed it.
The last was a security setting on viewers browser concerning html.  I
think.
Only the last was something that could be done to remedy.
