WOW ! Thank you!
I thought there was something on xp for this, but couldn't find it!!
I apprecitate the wonderful instructions!!
I have some Kodak paper - Costco Sized 100 high gloss sheets for inket
prints. -only 8 mil though - I have an HP printer. Also have some HP premium 10
mil injet - and some matte that I think came free with the glossy. And a small
pack of kodak inkjet 'photo' paper -
I need to put a new color ink cartridge in before I start - I'm working on a low
cartridge!
I ran the program part way - up until actually printing, and it was 'pretty
slick' !! My choices of paper were HP photo and HP premium photo - so I'll guess
on that one !
If this is successful, I have a bunch of photo's I'd like to print!!

If you're using XP, you already have a very good photo printing application, the
built-in photo viewer. Double-click the image and when it shows onscreen just
hit the print button. It'll then opn up and allow you to select multiple other
images. Through the various menus, you select which photos, as well as how many
of each photo you want printed, and what size you want them printed at... from
wallet, 3.5x5, 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10. And, you also go into the printer options for
the best settings, which I'll explain real quick in the next paragraph.
Most of today's inkjets are more than sufficient to print photos. You just need
two things, and these two things determine how GREAT your photos can look.
First, you need photo paper. Forget about the matte finish paper. Its not the
true matte finish like you get in a photo developing shop. Its crappy matte. Use
the glossy photo paper. You can get it fairly cheap. And, buying a STAPLES brand
as opposed to an HP or KODAK brand DOES make a difference. I've tried many
different brands, and STAPLES actually stinks real bad. I have an HP printer,
and the HP brand 10 mil glossy is great. The KODAK 10 mil is equally, if not
better, superb. The 10 mil, in case you don't know, refers to the weight of the
paper. The higher the number, the thicker the paper, and usually, the better the
photo. Unless you get brochure paper, don't go under 9 mil. I think the photo
stores use 10 mil.
Second, when you print, you have to make sure you tell the printer that you're
printing to specialty paper. Select glossy, matte or whatever paper you use.
Hope this info helps.

| I have never printed photo's from my computer before. I need advice! and
| lessons!
| The one thing I need to know is how to fit more than one picture onto a page.
| Is there a good software program out there to use?
| I have Jasc's Paint Shop Pro - and Paint - and Picture it.
| The software with my digital camera doesn't seem to have anything with it to
| organize multiple photo's for printing.
| Thx!!!!!
