I think you need to sign into Windows with a password, and that will
enable the Save Password checkbox.

Hi all...I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving....I shut off my puter and
went out for the day....now when I came home I turned it on and the password
is not on my dial up screen....it is grayed out so I have to put it in each
time I dial in....does any one know how to fix this so I can have it save
my password the strange thing is it was fine when I shut it off...I am
running 98 SE and OE6...thanks...Deb
