David,
    Having looked at your present setup, I see nothing wrong or dangerous 
about your organization, as long as it's serving you well.  I am always 
finding reasons to create &/or remove (after relocating their contents) 
certain folders or subgroups of folders as my needs change.  So, just make 
sure that your arrangement reflects how you prefer to work with your 
messages, while not allowing too many posts to take refuge inside any one 
folder.
