    The only problem I ever had with Frontpage was that many of the more 
advanced features required the server (like your school site) to have 
Frontpage extensions already installed or else they wouldn't work.  At the 
time (many years ago), I looked into it and found that very few of the free 
web hosting sites met that requirement.  It was extremely disappointing, to 
say the least.  I now wonder if that's the same issue that bothered you, 
too.

    I should mention that I still use Frontpage, but I try to stay clear of 
the things that require the extensions.
