Gratchie,
    Try unplugging the mouse cable from the port on the back of the computer
and then reseating it.  Those things have a nasty habit of coming loose
enough to cause this exact problem, even though it looks and feels
completely seated.  There could also be dirt, grime or some other film on
the pins preventing good contact (cigarette smoke is one major cause of
this) and reseating it should correct the problem.  Also, take a look inside
the mouse cable connector and see if any of the small pins have become bent
or broken.  This is unlikely since you've already tried another mouse, but
it's still a good habit to develop when troubleshooting these things.

yes sir troth, i already tried removing it from device manager then
reinstalling the driver but it still doesnt work =(
